U.S. and Thai marines drink snake blood during jungle survival drill

U.S. marines slurped snake blood and ate scorpions in a jungle survival program on Feb. 19 as part of the annual Cobra Gold war games. Seven countries, including the U.S., Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Singapore, participated in the drill, where they learn which plants and animals to consume if they’re ever stranded.
